I finally got off my ass and started submitting these. Since nobody sees comics in the summer, I decided to try to come up with the most ridiculous strip premises, and then within those confines come up with four or five entertaining comics.

I started a third strip to cover everything not related to hating Bush and Graduate school. I call it The Kitchen Sink (so as not to further corral myself into needing to invent more strips).

Edit: This was originally made inresponse to this post about a girl's terror on the FW shuttle, and everyone else's corroborating comments. I was inclined to make a comic because just a week earlier one of the bus drivers on IF stopped, waited for me to get up and struggle with my burstingly overloaded backback, and then lurched forward just a bit. I'm sure this kind of thing happens on accident, but I am fairly certain this wasn't an accident. I barely managed not to fall down, though I still provided the driver with some entertainment.
Anyway, I feel a bit bad about upsetting the good drivers on the UT shuttles. I rode in this morning with a guy who has always been fine, and he expresed his annoyance by saying "Make sure to take your Daily Texans with you when you leave the bus." I'll also feel bad if the truly insane Far West guy murders anyone. But Capital Metro still needs to do something about having such low minimum standards for UT drivers. Having mostly decent drivers does not make up for having a handful of immature, unprofessional, and dangerous ones.
